Why maintenance, why not just throw up a site already?
The answer as to why the site is under maintenance (and why it currently has such an awkward design) is extremely simple:
As some people know, The Couch has been up and running for quite some time now.
The site however is a new addition and as such there hasn't really been much attention given to it yet, and we don't want to throw up anything more than just one page before everything is functional.
With other words:
there is simply nothing to show here yet, and sadly we must inform that the site is not our #1 priority right now. The Couch do not hold any benefits for the people working behind the scenes, and they do this entirely on their free time as a hobby-project. This mean that they gain no reward for their dedication and thus we can't ask too much of them, right?
Therefore it will take some time before it look decent and fill more functions than just an extremely brief introduction.
